| Doc Hollywood, starring Michael J Fox as an aspiring plastic surgeon on his way to Beverly Hills, has a story that revolves around this car. While on his way to the big-time in Callifornia, Fox crashes his car in rural South Carolina. In the accident, the fence of the local Judge is destroyed. As punishment, Fox is sentenced to be the local doctor until the car is repaired. The local mechanichas never seen a Porsche, let alone a classic such as this Speedster and completely dismantles it before repairing it. Once the car is repaired, it is wrecked again when the doctor stops to deliver a baby on the roadside. |
