1987 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL HI JACK CAR
The Buick Grand National represented Buick's brief but
glorious mid-'80s return to late-'60s muscle cars. The
Grand National started with a mid-size Buick, the Regal
coupe with a turbo V-6 engine. Initially it differed
mostly in suspension tuning and full blackout exterior,
but further development, including more precise
sequential fuel injection, ultimately produced 245
horsepower and 0-60 times of less than 5 seconds.
Featured in the opening desert hijacking scene and driven by Vin Diesel, this Grand National has been
modified with a full roll cage, fuel cell and hydraulic mounts in the back seat area for lifting rams.  The
hydraulics made the car hop off the ground as the car is it rammed by a tanker truck.
Fast & Furious is the fourth film in the The Fast and the Furious
film series. It is set between the second and third movies. The plot
connects with the original film of the series from which Paul Walker, Vin
Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster reprising their roles.
