In the latest film of the Transformers series, the year is 1987 and the Autobot Bumblebee is on the run disguised as a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. He seeks refuge in a junkyard of a small California town. Charlie, about to turn 18 years old and trying to figure out her place in the world, soon discovers the battle scarred and broken Bumblebee.

This particular Bumblebee took a break from the Transformers franchise to star in Wal Mart’s 2019 “Famous Cars” commercial which premiered during the Golden Globes Award Show on January 6, 2019.
