In 2029 the mutant population has shrunken significantly and the X-Men have disbanded. A weary Logan, no longer known as Wolverine, is caring for an ailing Professor X, somewhere on the Mexican border. However, Logan’s attempts to hide from the world, and his legacy, are upended when a young mutant, Laura, arrives, pursued by dark forces. Laura, also known as X-23, possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess and is in many ways like Wolverine. She is pursued by sinister figures working for a powerful corporation.

The Reavers were humans who had “bionic implants to enhance various aspects of their physiology.” These half human and half robot beings are essentially special ops military contractors working for evil biotech corporation Transigen, the ones responsible for the X-23 experiments. They run afoul of Wolverine and Professor X when the pair get mixed up in the Reavers’ mission to recapture X-23, Laura.

As the primary antagonists in Logan, it was only fitting that they’d have their own vehicles to reflect that. The Reaver Jeep Cherokees were skeletal and actual stunt cars in real life, built on giant 4×4 chassis. Movie makers were adamant that the look of these vehicles remain non-militarized. The Reavers were not part of the military, they were a private group of paid mercenaries being hired by a corporation.
